Ask The Handicapper – March 2017

BHA Head of Handicapping Phil Smith joins us once again in the studio in our pre-Cheltenham Festival show.

Smith speaks on the recent controversy about the British handicapper giving Irish horses perceived ‘inflated’ marks and not letting them run on their Irish ratings in Festival races, while we look at some Cheltenham challengers and their chances at the big meeting from a ratings perspective.

Expect a few laughs too – and the customary back-and-forth between Smith and our very own Matt Chapman!
