BETWAY, who this week announced they had signed up as an authorised betting partner of British racing, have been unveiled as one of the sponsors of the upcoming All-Weather Championships.
The online operator will sponsor three categories in the championships which start at Lingfield on October 27, the sprint, middle distance and marathon divisions.
Betway’s marketing director, Anthony Werkman, said: “The All-Weather Championships have been a huge success since they were introduced four years ago and we’re thrilled to become a sponsor of three key categories.
“Having recently signed a deal to become an authorised betting partner, we have shown our full commitment to British racing.”
Partnerships already in place
The multi-year deal means Betway join fellow ABP 32Red as a category sponsor for the championships.
Arena Racing Company group director of sponsorship David Leyden Dunbar, said: “We are delighted to welcome Betway as category sponsors of the All-Weather Championships.
“We have already had a successful partnership with the company through their sponsorship of the Betway Lincoln and it is exciting to have the chance to extend this to the All-Weather Championships.
“As authorised betting partners they understand symbiotic nature of the racing and the betting industries and we are determined to continue to show the value of racing to their business through pioneering sponsorship opportunities, such as the All-Weather Championships.”
Ladbrokes and Coral were previous sponsors of the championships but are no longer involved but having refused to sign up to the ABP scheme.
