British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes (class 5) 5f, 2yo fillies which are EBF eligible
FRANKEL filly Queen Kindly cruised to victory in the opening race at Catterick – at odds of 1-16 – giving her sire an eighth winner from 14 runs.
Faced with just four other rivals following Sky Gypsy and Angel Meadow being declared non-runners, Queen Kindly was backed into 1-16 and duly delivered with jockey Jamie Spencer motionless for the entirety.
The Richard Fahey-trained filly was a close third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot, and following this victory back at the scene of her first success, Queen Kindly has become the first Frankel progeny to record two wins to their name.
She holds an entry for the Group 2 Lowther Stakes at York on August 18 and assistant trainer Robin O’Ryan confirmed that could be the target.
“We wanted to give her more experience as it was greenness that beat her at Ascot,” said O’Ryan. “She’ll probably go for the Princess Margaret or the Lowther at York now”
