Keith Desormeaux with Exaggerator
Preakness winner Exaggerator has returned to light training at Belmont Park after finishing eleventh in the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes. The Daily Racing Form‘s David Grening reported that the Keith Desormeaux trainee jogged two miles Wednesday and will gallop on Saturday.
The colt has shown good energy in the morning, trying to rear a few times outside the barn following his workout on Wednesday.
Exaggerator is anticipated to have a similar schedule next week and may breeze next weekend. Grening noted that the horse is presumably pointed toward the Jim Dandy at Saratoga at the end of July, though plans may not be firm yet.
