On 31 October 2016, Freddie Tylicki received the news the whole racing community feared most – the jockey was diagnosed with a T7 paralysis after a shocking four-horse incident at Kempton Park. Tylicki’s positivity and enthusiasm and courage has captured the wider imagination as he steps up his rehabialitation, and here Jason Weaver pays a visit to the National Spine Centre in Stanmore to hear from Tylicki himself about his recovery.
