Juddmonte Farms’ Lockdown, shown galloping April 24, worked 5 furlongs Tuesday at CD

The work tab was rather light Tuesday morning at Churchill Downs, but there were two major contenders for the Kentucky Oaks that did breeze.

The two fillies trained by Bill Mott – Juddmonte Farms’ Lockdown and Claiborne Farms’ & Adele Dilschneider’s Elate worked five furlongs in company shortly after 8:30 a.m. According to Churchill Downs clockers, Lockdown was timed in :59.40 in company with Elate (:59.20). Splits: 12.40, 24.40, 36.40, and 47.40. Galloped out six furlongs – 1:12.80.

Kentucky Derby contenders State of Honor and J Boys Echo jogged/galloped this morning.
