ONE Scoop6 ticket holder will have been smiling wider than even Colin Tizzard after Native River won the Hennessy on Saturday as that result secured them a £314,482 bonus.
Native River gave Richard Johnson a first win in the race and extended Tizzard’s incredible recent run but it was even more important for the ticket holder who more than trebled their winnings after picking up £98,132 last weekend.
Seven ticket holders had the chance to win the bonus pot after picking six correct winners last weekend but only one chose Tizzard’s 7-2 favourite at Newbury.
Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said: “Congratulations to the bonus winner landing over £400,000 for seven correct selections in seven days.
“They may have had heart palpitations in the closing stages of the Hennessy but they were the only one of the seven winners to plump for the favourite and have been handsomely rewarded.
“This week’s Scoop6 was not won meaning we start with £137,706 in the fund on Betfred Becher Chase Day net weekend.”
