It’s been a stunning start to life as a trainer for Olly Murphy – but what’s been the secret so far?

Matt Chapman talks to the rising star at Uttoxeter nearly a month after the trainer’s first-ever winner, Dove Mountain at Brighton at the start of July 2017. By the end of the month, Murphy was operating at around a 50% strike-rate and had truly announced himself as a trainer to be reckoned with now and in the future.
