Paid Up Subscriber Doing Well After Undergoing Ankle Surgery

Paid Up Subscriber is doing well after having surgery to repair a fractured ankle

Multiple graded stakes winner Paid Up Subscriber, who rolled to a 32 1/2-length victory in last Sunday’s G3 Shuvee Stakes, is doing well after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured ankle.

The Blood-Horse reports that the 5-year-old daughter of Candy Ride came out of the Shuvee with the injury. She underwent surgery to repair her right front ankle Aug. 2.

Trainer Chad Brown told the Blood-Horse that the talented mare is “going to be fine.”

“She will get 60 days off and we will re-evaluate her,” Brown added.

Paid Up Subscriber has compiled a record of 5-3-2 from 15 starts, for earnings of $ 862,850.
