FINDING winners at Royal Ascot on Tuesday could be even more rewarding than usual with five of the six races forming part of a monster Scoop6 which is nearing £3.5 million.
The win fund rolled over for an eighth time on Saturday leaving £1,233,974 in the pool while the bonus pot, which has been unclaimed since last July, has reached £1,792,585. Combined, the pools are the sixth biggest in Scoop6 history.
All races at Royal Ascot bar the St James’s Palace Stakes are including in the Scoop6 while the other leg comes from Thirsk, a 16-runner 0-70 7f handicap.
With soft ground and highly-competitive action at Ascot and Thirsk, Betfred make the bet 4-7 not to be won and 5-4 that the pots will be scooped. Anyone getting through today’s six legs will be asked to find the winner of the Royal Hunt Cup on Wednesday to win the bonus.
Andrew Griffiths, spokesman for Totepool, said: “Royal Ascot promises to be an absolute feast for Scoop6 players and, with £3m already in the pools, it serves up a delicious prize on day one.”
Leg 1: 2.30 Ascot, Leg 2: 2.45 Thirsk, Leg 3: 3.05 Ascot, Leg 4: 3.40 Ascot, Leg 5: 5.00 Ascot, Leg 6: 5.35 Ascot
