Fox Hill Farm’s perfect record-holder Songbird recorded her final pre-race breeze at Santa Anita Sunday morning, earning the rare “breezing” designation from the clockers for her four-furlong move in :47 3/5.

Songbird is scheduled to ship east from Santa Anita to Parx later Sunday afternoon, in preparation for a start in the G1 Cotillion Stakes on Sept. 24. Following her arrival at Parx, the undefeated filly will gallop for four days before the race.

The sophomore daughter of Medaglia d’Oro has recorded 10 victories from her 10 career starts, including two recent G1 wins at Saratoga by a combined 12 1/4 lengths. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, she is expected to start in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff following the Cotillion.
