Aidan O’Brien trainee The Gurkha will miss the rest of the season due to a displaced colon, according to racingpost.com. The sophomore colt owned by the Coolmore partners has this season won a pair of Group 1 races and finished second in two more top-level contests, most recently winning an exciting edition of the Sussex Stakes by a neck over rival Galileo Gold.
