Mubtaahij, winner of the 2015 G2 UAE Derby, has been transferred to trainer Bob Baffert and currently is training at Los Alamitos.

The BloodHorse reports that the 5-year-old son of Dubawi has been in California for about a month. He last raced March 25, when he finished fourth in the G1 Dubai World Cup.

Owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum, Mubtaahij has been trained for most of his career by Mike de Kock. For part of 2016, Mubtaahij was based in New York, where he was trained by Kiaran McLaughlin.

While in the U.S., Mubtaahij finished third in the G2 Suburban, fourth in the G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup, and was narrowly beaten in the G1 Woodward.
