Video: Farewell, Champ – Ben’s Cat Leaves Laurel Park To Retire In Kentucky

Multiple graded stakes winner and Maryland Horse of the Year Ben’s Cat left Laurel Park late Wednesday night to retire at a farm in Kentucky.

The 11-year-old gelding was led onto the van by assistant trainer Avon Thorpe.

Ben’s Cat finished his career with 32 wins from 63 starts, and earned over $ 2.6 million.
